Political uproar in Madhya Pradesh over Jitu Patwari’s controversial remark, Durgesh Keswani hits back
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh politics has heated up after PCC Chief Jitu Patwari’s controversial statement. Recently, Patwari remarked, “IAS officers should keep their shorts buttoned.” Following this comment, political reactions have flared up across the state.
Madhya Pradesh BJP spokesperson Dr. Durgesh Keswani strongly criticized Jitu Patwari, saying, “Patwari looks for sweetness and flavor among fellow legislators. When he was a minister in the Kamal Nath government, he arranged domestic and foreign liquor and pretended to serve the people.”
Keswani also accused Patwari of making derogatory comments in the past, stating, “He once said that women in Madhya Pradesh drink the most alcohol and even told his own party to ‘go to hell.’ All this raises questions about his leadership and moral character.”
Attack on Congress’s weak image
Keswani continued, “Jitu Patwari is the most unsuccessful state president in the history of the Madhya Pradesh Congress. Under his leadership, the Congress was wiped out in the Lok Sabha elections. His inability to get along with senior leaders is clear proof of his failure.”
