Sheopur, November 7, 2024: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and BJP State President and Khajuraho MP Vishnudatt Sharma addressed public gatherings on Thursday in the villages of Agra, Gaswani, Karahal, and Sesaipura in the Vijaypur Assembly constituency. They also conducted a roadshow in Karahal in support of BJP candidate Mr. Ramniwas Rawat.
Chief Minister Yadav remarked on the transformation brought by the BJP government, claiming that they eradicated the influence of bandits, which was previously unaddressed during Congress’s 55-year rule. Highlighting Ramniwas Rawat’s decision to leave Congress to foster the development of Vijaypur, Dr. Yadav urged people to elect him as their MLA, promising BJP’s commitment to the area’s growth.
BJP State President Sharma criticized the Congress for neglecting the rights of the poor and tribal communities. He emphasized the welfare efforts made by the BJP government, contrasting them with the alleged inaction during Congress’s short-lived government under Kamal Nath, which reportedly halted financial support for Sahariya tribal women.
Dr. Yadav also highlighted initiatives like free helicopter services for medical emergencies and free healthcare coverage up to 500,000 INR per individual under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. The BJP government has been depositing 1,500 INR monthly in Sahariya women’s accounts to combat malnutrition. Additionally, he stressed efforts to enhance irrigation across Sheopur, ensuring access to water in every village.
In his appeal, BJP President Sharma called on the public to cast their votes in favor of BJP on November 13, highlighting Prime Minister Modi’s development agenda. A grand roadshow saw a significant public turnout with chants of support for BJP and Prime Minister Modi, affirming the party’s resonance among the masses.
During the rally, several Congress members and supporters officially joined BJP, including notable figures like Gopal Singh from Palpur, Mahadev Raj Singh, and others, whom Sharma welcomed with ceremonial party scarves.
The event was attended by several prominent leaders and representatives, reinforcing BJP’s push for a strong show of support in the upcoming elections.
