Bhopal, November 7: Today, Minister of Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge), Mr. Lakhan Patel, visited the Livestock Breeding Facility in Kiratpur, Itarsi. During his visit, he inspected the Kamdhenu Breeding Center, Livestock Breeding Facility, and the Goat Farming Center and Animal Feed Plant under the National Agricultural Development Scheme.
Minister Patel directed the manager to enhance the management of the facility. He emphasized utilizing the cultivable land within the facility to increase revenue, urging the purchase of wheat, fodder, and silage at minimal rates from local farmers to support regional agriculture. Minister Patel also interacted with the workers to understand their concerns and instructed the management to resolve their issues. Additionally, he discussed best practices with progressive farmers and planted trees within the facility premises.
Accompanying the minister during the visit were Managing Director Dr. Raju Rawat, former Managing Director Dr. H.B.S. Bhadoria, Facility Manager Dr. L.P. Ahirwar, NKBC Manager Dr. Pawan Sisodia, Animal Feed Plant Manager Dr. Sunil Chaudhary, and progressive farmers Mr. Sharad Verma, Mr. Rajkumar Mehto, Mr. Sonu Chaudhary, along with other farmers and workers.
