Tonk: In the Tonk district’s Deoli-Uniara seat by-election, voters initially turned out slowly, but soon the enthusiasm and innovative approaches at polling stations became evident. In Deoli village, Payal Kinnar, the only transgender voter in the constituency, cast her vote at Booth No. 33, encouraging others to recognize the importance of voting and exercise their right.

Unique initiatives to increase voter participation were visible throughout the Deoli-Uniara area. At some polling stations, scout and guide students assisted differently-abled and elderly voters, while others managed mobile kiosks to help those who brought their phones. To further encourage voting, first-time voters were welcomed with garlands at various booths.

A total of 3,02,743 voters across 307 booths in the constituency are eligible to cast their votes today.
