For the First Time, Sector-Wise Summits to be Held at Global Investors Summit
Experts, Policymakers, and Investors to Share a Common Platform
Bhopal, Thursday, February 6, 2025 –
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is advancing towards a new era of industrial development through strategic efforts. To offer better opportunities to investors, the Global Investors Summit (GIS) will host sector-specific summits focusing on six key industries.

For the first time, experts, policymakers, and investors will come together on a single platform to discuss key policies, opportunities, and reforms, ensuring a more transparent, efficient, and results-oriented investment process.
Madhya Pradesh: The Most Attractive Investment Destination in India
Madhya Pradesh’s strategic location, rich natural resources, advanced infrastructure, and industry-friendly policies make it one of the most attractive investment destinations in the country. Key sectors like urban development, tourism, mining, renewable energy, IT, and MSMEs are offering immense opportunities to investors.
The state is already India’s largest diamond producer, an emerging green energy hub, and a global tourism hotspot. These sector-wise summits will help investors understand policy incentives, resource availability, and the strengthening of the industrial ecosystem.
Key Sector Summits at GIS 2025
1. Urban Development Summit
Madhya Pradesh’s urban infrastructure is rapidly evolving, with smart city projects, metro rail developments, and logistics hubs making it a prime destination for real estate and infrastructure investments. The summit will focus on smart and sustainable city development, innovation, and modern urban planning.
2. Tourism Summit
Madhya Pradesh is known as the ‘Heart of India’, with world-famous religious, historical, and natural tourist attractions like Khajuraho, Ujjain, Sanchi, Pachmarhi, Kanha, and Bandhavgarh. The summit will focus on hospitality investments, theme-based tourism destinations, and adventure tourism.
3. Mining Summit
Madhya Pradesh is rich in mineral resources, being a major producer of diamonds, limestone, bauxite, coal, manganese, and copper. Asia’s only diamond mines in Panna and vast coal reserves make the state an ideal mining destination. The summit will explore mining-based industries, value-added processing, and policy incentives.
4. Renewable Energy Summit
The state is rapidly transforming into a green energy hub with projects like Rewa Solar Plant, Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project, and Green Hydrogen initiatives. The summit will present strategic investment opportunities in solar, wind, and hydrogen energy sectors.
5. IT & Technology Summit
Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a center for technology and digital innovation with Indore’s IT hub, data center policies, and a fast-growing startup ecosystem. The summit will focus on digital transformation, IT parks, AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
6. MSME Summit
The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector is the backbone of Madhya Pradesh’s economy, with thousands of industries operating across the state. Policies like One District-One Product, new industrial clusters, and export promotion initiatives are strengthening this sector. The summit will discuss financial support, technological upgrades, and new market access.
7. Pravasi Summit
Madhya Pradesh is inviting NRIs to invest in industries, startups, tourism, education, and other sectors. This summit will connect global Madhya Pradesh expatriates, recognize their achievements, and explore their role in the state’s progress.
A Vision for a Prosperous Industrial Future
These sectoral summits reaffirm the state government’s commitment to providing a safe, transparent, and industry-friendly environment. The new format of GIS 2025 will not only boost investment and industry growth but also create new employment opportunities and drive economic development.
Madhya Pradesh is no longer just an investment hub; it is shaping the industrial future of India.
