In the lead-up to the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, a pre-summit focusing on the health sector was organized in Jaipur on Thursday, attended by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. During the event, 16,176 crore INR in Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with investors in the health, medical, and AYUSH sectors. This brings the total investment proposals for the health sector to over 25,400 crore INR.
The MoUs included 14,000 crore INR for health and medical projects and 2,157 crore INR for AYUSH initiatives. Additionally, the RajNivesh portal received proposals amounting to 57,000 crore INR.
In his address, Chief Minister Sharma emphasized that holding an investment summit within the first year of the administration signifies the government’s dedication to both securing partnerships and working toward their implementation within the next 3-4 years. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing accessible healthcare services to all citizens.
