Bhopal, November 26, 2024 On the occasion of Constitution Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Ambedkar House in London, paying tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. Dr. Yadav honored Dr. Ambedkar by garlanding his statue and reciting the Preamble alongside his delegation. He also recorded his reflections in the visitor’s book and explored the museum that commemorates the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar, who stayed in the house during his London studies in 1921-22.


Dr. Ambedkar: A Beacon of Resilience and Unity

Addressing the event, CM Yadav highlighted the indispensable role of Dr. Ambedkar in ensuring India’s unity and integrity. He said:

A Special Day for Madhya Pradesh: Remembering Dr. Hari Singh Gour

The CM noted that November 26 also marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Hari Singh Gour, a member of the Constituent Assembly and founder of Sagar University. Dr. Gour’s philanthropic gesture of donating his entire wealth to establish Sagar University has significantly advanced education and development in the Bundelkhand region.


PM Modi’s Vision: Honoring Dr. Ambedkar’s Legacy

Dr. Yadav expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for developing sites associated with Dr. Ambedkar’s life into national memorials. He praised the initiative for giving people opportunities to learn about Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals and contributions.

The CM emphasized that the true essence of the Constitution can only be honored when citizens follow its principles with patriotism and integrity.
