Special Nutritional Aid for Pregnant and Lactating Mothers of Pahadi Korwa Tribe

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the Mukhyamantri Anna Kosh Yojana in Ambikapur, an initiative aimed at reducing maternal and infant mortality rates among the Pahadi Korwa, a particularly vulnerable tribal group. The scheme, introduced as a pilot project by the Sarguja district administration, provides additional nutritional support to pregnant and lactating mothers. This initiative is part of a larger development agenda, which includes the launch and dedication of ₹536 crore worth of development and infrastructure projects in the Sarguja region.
