Dehradun, July 8, 2026: Under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s direction, Uttarakhand’s statewide Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar campaign is continuing through a 15 day service, good governance and dedication fortnight, with special camps being held across all districts to take government services directly to the public. The initiative is already drawing strong participation, with thousands of people receiving benefits and grievances resolved on the spot.
According to the latest state government data, 46,151 people had participated in the camps by July 6, of whom 11,667 people received benefits under various schemes and 1,961 public grievances were redressed during the drive. The campaign is being organized at the district, block and tehsil levels to ensure that welfare services and administrative support reach people closer to where they live.
The outreach effort has recorded especially strong response in Dehradun, where camps in Rishikesh and Chakrata saw 30,410 participants. Haridwar also saw large turnout, with 2,859 people participating in camps held at Rishikul Ayurvedic College and the Roorkee block. In Pithoragarh, more than 1,700 people attended three camps, while 112 grievances were settled.
Other districts also reported active participation. Camps in Champawat drew 2,537 participants. Almora camps at Malla Mahal in Hawalbagh and Polytechnic Takula saw 1,401 participants. In Bageshwar, 745 people attended, with 31 certificate applications filed and 321 beneficiaries receiving support under different schemes.
Udham Singh Nagar recorded 1,340 participants at camps in Rudrapur City Club and Gadarpur block headquarters, with 551 applications received and 490 resolved on the spot. Rudraprayag saw 689 participants, 45 applications, 30 immediate resolutions and benefits extended to 445 people under various schemes.
In Uttarkashi, a camp in Chinyalisaur saw 284 participants, while 15 of 18 applications were settled immediately. Tehri Garhwal’s Kirtinagar camp saw all seven applications resolved on the spot. Chamoli camps across Gopeshwar PG College, Tharali, Jyotirmath, Kuju Makot and Dasholi saw 1,025 participants and 707 people benefitted under different schemes. Nainital camps in Bhimtal, Haldwani and Ramnagar drew 1,009 participants, and Pauri Garhwal camps at the auditorium in Pauri, Pauri block and Kot block saw 1,627 participants.
Officials said the campaign is helping deliver services faster, strengthen public trust and reduce the gap between citizens and administration.
