“Those Who Don’t Respect Lord Ram Will Be Taught a Lesson in This Election”

Amravati, November 14, 2024: On Thursday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed gatherings in support of party candidates in Maharashtra’s MelghatChief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav constituency, covering the regions of Chikhaldara and Chandur Bazar in Achalpur. During his speech, Dr. Yadav spoke passionately about the party’s commitment to values rooted in Hindu traditions and culture. He criticized the Congress for allegedly disrespecting these values, asserting that while the nation celebrated the inauguration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, Congress leaders stayed home. “For those who reject Lord Ram, Maharashtra’s people will deliver a resounding verdict this election,” he said.

#### Strengthening Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh Ties: Unity in Heritage
Chief Minister Yadav emphasized the historical and cultural ties between Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, likening the two states to brothers connected through iconic figures like Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Dr. Ambedkar, he highlighted, was born in Madhya Pradesh and dedicated his life to social justice, education, and empowering marginalized communities in Maharashtra. He also recounted Lord Ram’s exile years in Madhya Pradesh’s Chitrakoot and his battles against oppression, as well as Lord Krishna’s education in Ujjain and his marriage to Maharashtra’s princess, Rukmini.Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav

#### A Call to Protect India’s Cultural Legacy
“This election is a battle to preserve our cultural values,” Dr. Yadav declared, stressing the importance of honoring women, as rooted in India’s “Sanatan” (eternal) traditions. He noted that Indian culture uniquely personifies the nation as “Bharat Mata” (Mother India) and places reverence for women at the core of spirituality. Dr. Yadav criticized the Congress for allegedly undermining these values, claiming, “When we deposit funds to support our sisters, Congress leaders feel discomfort. They are only interested in supporting intruders who exploit and threaten our daughters.”

#### Urging People to Vote for BJP
Dr. Yadav encouraged voters to exercise their democratic right on November 20 by supporting the BJP to fulfill its promises. He pledged that the BJP would deliver on its commitments and continue prioritizing the welfare of the people.

#### Transparency and Trust in Governance
In his address, Dr. Yadav underscored the BJP’s commitment to transparency, contrasting it with the alleged corruption of past Congress governments. Recalling former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s famous statement that only 15 paise of every rupee sent for the poor reached them, he claimed that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Every rupee sent by the central government now reaches the people without leakage.”

#### Congress’s Alleged Denial of Lord Ram’s Existence
Finally, Dr. Yadav criticized Congress and its allies for allegedly questioning the existence of Lord Ram. He stated that despite the ongoing construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Congress leaders have yet to visit it, suggesting this demonstrates a lack of respect for India’s heritage. Yadav concluded by affirming that this election is about protecting cultural pride and supporting a “double-engine” government under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
