A Meaningful Step Towards Clean Water and a Pure Mind

CANON TIMES Bhopal: To uphold the spirit of service and commitment to human welfare, Sant Nirankari Mission is launching the third phase of ‘Project Amrit’ under the initiative ‘Clean Water, Pure Mind.’ The grand inauguration will take place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Chhath Ghat, ITO, Delhi, in the divine presence of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji.

In sync with this mission, all branches of Zone 24A, including the Bhopal branch, will conduct cleanliness drives along the banks of Karishma Park (Chhota Talab) from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, while the Bairagarh branch will clean the area near Jhulelal Visarjan Ghat and Gulab Udyan during the same hours. The initiative aims to raise awareness about water conservation and cleanliness to ensure that future generations inherit clean water and a healthy environment.

A Mission Rooted in Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s Teachings

Inspired by Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj’s teachings, Sant Nirankari Mission launched ‘Project Amrit’ in 2023 in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The initiative is not just about keeping water bodies clean but also about integrating water conservation into daily life. Dedicated to the preservation of rivers, lakes, ponds, wells, and waterfalls, the mission has seen remarkable success in its first two phases. This year, the third phase has been expanded with a broader, more impactful approach to create a lasting wave of awareness, service, and dedication in society.

A Nationwide Campaign for Water Conservation

According to Shri Joginder Sukheja, Secretary of Sant Nirankari Mandal, this large-scale campaign will be conducted simultaneously across 1,600 locations in 900 cities across 27 states and Union Territories. The historic magnitude of this mission will effectively spread the message of water conservation and cleanliness to the masses.

In Delhi, the campaign will once again be held under the inspiring theme, ‘Let’s Beautify Yamuna’s Banks.’ Nearly one million dedicated volunteers from the Sant Nirankari Mission, along with students from institutions like JNU, Delhi University, and Indraprastha University, will participate. Through musical performances, group singing, awareness seminars, and social media campaigns, the initiative aims to educate people about waterborne diseases and the importance of cleanliness. More than just a cleanup drive, this movement will inspire the youth to contribute to societal well-being in meaningful ways.

A Divine Vision for a Cleaner, Greener Future

Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj often reminds us that we must leave this world in a better, more beautiful state. ‘Project Amrit’ is a manifestation of this vision, striving to promote awareness, service, and devotion while encouraging society to adopt a more responsible approach toward environmental conservation.
