CM Honored NSS Students Who Participated in the Republic Day Parade 2025 in New Delhi
Encouraged Active Participation in Social Development

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that the National Service Scheme (NSS) is a vibrant platform for personality development and patriotism. He stated that the very name of NSS evokes the spirit of service. This organization nurtures students’ qualities, instilling in them a commitment to community development and contributing to national progress. It is commendable that today’s students are studying NSS as a subject, which further strengthens their spirit of service. The youth are the future of the nation, and their dedication to service will accelerate the country’s development.

Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing an honor ceremony at Samatva Bhavan (CM Residence) for NSS students from Madhya Pradesh who made the state proud at the Republic Day Parade 2025 in New Delhi. The CM appreciated their dedication and spirit of service, honored the participating students and coordinators with medals, and extended his best wishes. These NSS volunteers showcased an outstanding performance at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, on January 26, 2025, bringing glory to Madhya Pradesh.
NSS: A Platform for Discipline, Patriotism, and Social Service
Dr. Yadav praised NSS as an important platform that instills social service, patriotism, discipline, and teamwork among the youth. The students from Madhya Pradesh showcased an exceptional performance at the Republic Day Parade, making the state proud. The Chief Minister encouraged students to continue their participation in social service and national awareness programs.
He also assured that the government is consistently working for the overall development of the youth. By guiding their energy in the right direction, their talents are being refined to contribute to the progress of the state.
Encouraging Youth Participation in Nation-Building
Dr. Yadav urged young individuals to focus on building their careers while also considering active participation in politics, as political growth strengthens social development. He advised youth not just to seek jobs but to become job providers. He emphasized that India, driven by the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The world is one family), is known globally for spreading goodwill.
He further praised NSS for its involvement in cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, blood donation, and public service initiatives, stating that NSS promotes the spirit of coexistence and collective progress.
NSS in Madhya Pradesh: Over 1.6 Lakh Students Involved
Additional Chief Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Mr. Anupam Rajan, stated that NSS is a national organization that integrates education with social service. Over 1.6 lakh students from various colleges in Madhya Pradesh are active members of NSS, and efforts are underway to establish NSS units in colleges that do not yet have them.
He congratulated the NSS contingent from Madhya Pradesh for their participation in the 2025 Republic Day Parade and encouraged all students to become responsible citizens through national service.
