Raipur, October 30, 2024: Governor Ramen Deka emphasized that police personnel should approach the public with a humanitarian perspective and sensitivity. He stated that the image of the police is shaped by the way officers treat citizens who come to the station with their grievances. Police officials should always be ready to assist the victims who seek help. Governor Deka expressed these thoughts during a meeting with probationary officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS, RR-76 Batch) at Raj Bhavan today. The meeting was attended by Ratan Lal Dangi, Director of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose State Police Academy, Chandkhuri, Raipur.

The probationary officers will receive field training in Chhattisgarh. Present on the occasion were Pawan Shukla, Abhishek Chaturvedi, Dhotre Sumeet Kumar Dattaharirao, Gagan Kumar, Harshit Mehar, Mayank Mishra, and Rahul Bansal.
