Transforming the Startup Ecosystem with Policy and Infrastructure Support
CM Dr. Yadav emphasized that startups are not just fueling economic growth but also creating new employment opportunities in the state. The government is implementing strong policy measures, financial assistance programs, and advanced infrastructure to support the startup ecosystem. These initiatives will drive innovation and empower young entrepreneurs to achieve their business goals.
Madhya Pradesh’s “MP Startup Policy and Implementation Scheme” is a significant step in this direction. Under this scheme:
Financial support of up to ₹18 lakh (18% of total investment) is provided to eligible startups.
Assistance is distributed across four different stages of startup growth.
Relaxation in tender eligibility for startups, exempting them from turnover and experience requirements.
No Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is required for government projects.
Exemption from mandatory licensing fees and priority in government procurement for two years.

Exclusive benefits for women, SC/ST entrepreneurs:
18% financial support (up to ₹18 lakh) on initial investment.
15% assistance (up to ₹15 lakh) for other startups.
Additional grants for startup events and incubation:
₹5 lakh per event (up to ₹20 lakh annually).
₹5 lakh one-time grant for incubator expansion.
Rental and operational cost support:
50% rental reimbursement (up to ₹5,000 per month) for three years.
Patent registration assistance of up to ₹5 lakh.
Global Exposure and Networking:
75% reimbursement for attending startup events (₹50,000 for domestic, ₹1.5 lakh for international events).
Government Support for Business Growth:
Exemption from licensing fees and logistics support.
Priority access to state-led startup funding programs.
