Dehradun, October 10, 2026: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended a multipurpose camp under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at the Kshatriya Chetna Manch on Tapovan Road in Dehradun.
He visited stalls set up by various departments and distributed agricultural equipment, mushroom mini-kits, and Mahalakshmi and Kishori kits provided by the Women and Child Development Department.
Complaints to Be Resolved Promptly
Dhami directed officials to give priority to grievances raised at the camps and resolve them within a defined timeframe. If a complaint requires more time, officials should clearly explain the expected process and timeline to the person concerned.
He said residents should not have to make repeated visits to government offices to get their work done. Resolving public grievances, he stressed, is a core responsibility of the administration—not a formality.
Services Delivered Closer to Residents
The Chief Minister said the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan has been running across Uttarakhand since September 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Through the campaign, the state government aims to promote public service and participation while addressing people’s problems.
Dhami noted that more than 6.5 lakh people took part in the two phases of the earlier “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar” campaign. The initiative helped resolve grievances and connect eligible residents with welfare schemes.
He said multipurpose camps are meant to bring government services and schemes directly to people—not simply to set up departmental stalls. Officials should listen to residents, take necessary action at the camp wherever possible and ensure that eligible people are not excluded because of a lack of information or complicated procedures.
Focus on Accessible Services and Healthcare
Dhami said the state government is working to make public services simpler, more accessible and more effective. Residents should not face unnecessary difficulty when seeking certificates, pensions, ration cards, healthcare or other government services.
He called for particular attention to the needs of older people, women and residents of remote areas, so they can access essential services locally.
The Chief Minister added that health services are an important part of the campaign. Camps are intended to provide health screenings and medical advice, helping identify illnesses in time and connect people who need care with appropriate treatment.
He urged local residents to make full use of the multipurpose camps.
MLA Umesh Sharma Kau, Dehradun District Magistrate Dr Ashish Chauhan, Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority Vice-Chairman Banshidhar Tiwari, Dehradun Municipal Commissioner Alok Kumar Pandey, Senior Superintendent of Police Pramendra Dobal, Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah, public representatives and district officials attended the programme.
