He said the institution would create medical education opportunities for young people from the border district.
After the public programme, Dhami inaugurated an optical biometer at Seemant Eye Hospital, operated by the Seemant Seva Foundation. The new equipment is intended to strengthen eye-care services for patients.
Recruitment and Welfare Commitments
Dhami reiterated the government’s commitment to fair recruitment, saying more than 35,000 young people had received government jobs across Uttarakhand. He added that over 100 people had been sent to jail in action against examination mafias under the state’s anti-copying law.
He also reaffirmed support for serving soldiers, veterans and their families.
During the event, the Chief Minister joined the gathering in listening to Prime Minister Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme, which he described as an inspiration for public participation and national service.
