Streamlined Process for Government Housing in Bhopal

Bhopal, November 20, 2024 – Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated two significant online portals aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in housing allocation and recruitment processes. These initiatives, under the Home and Women & Child Development departments, promise to revolutionize service delivery in the state.

Government Housing Allocation Portal Goes Live

The newly launched portal, www.sampada.mp.gov.in, enables online allocation of government housing in Bhopal. Governed by the provisions of the Bhopal Government Housing Allocation Rules 2000, the portal digitizes the entire process, ensuring real-time updates via SMS through the MPHOME gateway.

The system prioritizes applicants based on pre-determined criteria, eliminating human interference and potential biases. CM Dr. Yadav emphasized that this innovation is a first in the state and congratulated the Home Department for its progressive approach.

During the launch, CM Dr. Yadav also oversaw the allocation of newly constructed multi-story residential complexes in South T.T. Nagar, which include 1,210 units across the “G” and “H” categories. Beneficiaries will now receive instant notifications about their housing allocations, further simplifying the process.

Online Recruitment for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers

Dr. Yadav also introduced an online recruitment system for Anganwadi workers and helpers under the Women and Child Development Department. The system, accessible at https://chayan.mponline.gov.in, facilitates transparent and efficient hiring, significantly reducing grievances and delays.

Applicants can submit their forms along with required documents through MP Online kiosks or directly via their smartphones. The initiative ensures a swift and equitable selection process, aligning with the state government’s commitment to empowering women.

The portal also supports the recruitment of 17,871 positions, including newly sanctioned roles under the PM Janjati Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM Janman). This includes:

  • 5,201 positions for existing Anganwadi centers.
  • 12,670 new posts for additional centers approved across 20 tribal-dominated districts.

Workers will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹13,000, while helpers will be paid ₹6,500.

Empowering Women Through Employment

The initiative is expected to provide significant employment opportunities to women across the state. CM Dr. Yadav lauded the efforts of the Women & Child Development Department for adopting technology-driven solutions that foster transparency and accountability.

These portals symbolize a major step forward in digital governance, offering streamlined, citizen-centric services to Madhya Pradesh residents.
