Bhopal | March 7, 2025 | On March 8, International Women’s Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will honor outstanding women who have made significant contributions to social service, safety, bravery, and child welfare in Madhya Pradesh. The state-level event will be held at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center in Bhopal, where the CM will distribute prestigious awards by the Women and Child Development Department.
During the event, Dr. Yadav will also transfer the monthly installment of ₹1,250 under the Ladli Behna Yojana to beneficiaries’ accounts.
State Awards for Women’s Excellence
The Women and Child Development Department will present the following state-level awards for the year 2023-24:
- Rashtramata Padmavati Award (2023)
- Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Social Service Award (2023-24)
- Rani Avantibai Bravery Award (2024)
- Shri Vishnu Kumar Women and Child Welfare Social Service Award (2024)
Financial Assistance to Ladli Behna Yojana Beneficiaries
On Women’s Day, CM Dr. Yadav will also ensure the direct transfer of ₹1,552.73 crore into the bank accounts of 1.27 crore women beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana for March 2025. This will be done with a single-click transfer, further strengthening financial support for women in the state.
