**Our Government is Working to Fulfill the Vision of a Developed India Under the Leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai: Minister Tank Ram Verma**

*Raipur, November 6, 2024* – The Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day was celebrated as a grand Rajyotsav event at Pandit Chakrapani Shukla School Grounds in Balodabazar District Headquarters. The vibrant cultural performances, highlighting Chhattisgarh’s rich art, culture, and traditions, kept the audience captivated until late at night.

The celebrations were inaugurated by Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, who lit a ceremonial lamp before a portrait of Chhattisgarh Mata. Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma presided over the event, and other dignitaries graced the occasion. The district administration showcased several innovative initiatives, including the launch of the *E-Ret Sangwari Application 1.0* to facilitate sand availability for rural beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Additionally, a *Career Information Center* for career counseling was inaugurated at the district library.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal extended warm wishes on the 24th Foundation Day of Chhattisgarh. He credited the creation of the state to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and highlighted the rapid development Chhattisgarh has witnessed. “Our double-engine government is propelling all-around growth. In just 10 months, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership has achieved remarkable milestones,” he said. Jaiswal emphasized the government’s focus on preserving Chhattisgarh’s ancient culture while promoting values that strengthen national unity.

Minister Jaiswal also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling numerous guarantees and underscored the government’s commitment to youth development. “Chhattisgarh is a young state, and our government is creating ample opportunities for education and employment. Over 7,000 government positions have been opened in the past 10 months. We have also implemented the National Education Policy to make education more employment-oriented,” he added. Jaiswal expressed confidence in the state’s accelerated growth, highlighting the launch of a new industrial policy and vision document at the Rajyotsav event.

Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, in his presidential address, expressed pride in Chhattisgarh’s progress over 24 years. “Our state has made tremendous strides across all sectors. We have introduced a State Sports Award to honor and encourage athletes, and we are investing in sports infrastructure,” he said. Verma reiterated the government’s dedication to making India a developed nation by 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Modi, and assured that Chhattisgarh would play a significant role under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.

The Rajyotsav featured development-centric exhibitions set up by various government departments, which the dignitaries visited and praised. Beneficiaries received information about numerous welfare schemes. The venue offered attractions like a Rangoli competition by schoolchildren, a free health camp, and a selfie point themed around Chhattisgarhi cuisine at the Garhkalewa stall. The cultural extravaganza continued late into the night, with mesmerizing performances by local artists. Renowned Chhattisgarhi singer Kavita Vasnik, Manharan Sahu’s group from Duldula’s Rangoli, Manisingh Thakur’s cultural troupe Jhapi from Karamda, and Manoj Markandeya’s Baba Ke Deewana Panthi Party from Kohraud left the audience enthralled. Schoolchildren also showcased their talent, making the celebration unforgettable.
