Hamirpur, November , 2024 – Usha Birla, the district vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has hailed the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) resounding victory in Maharashtra, describing it as a historic achievement. In a press release, Birla highlighted that the BJP, as part of the NDA, has surpassed several past electoral records, securing an overwhelming majority in the state.

She attributed the victory to the public’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the pro-development governance of NDA governments across the country. Birla remarked, “The way NDA governments are working for the welfare of the common man has strengthened public faith, and the result is this unprecedented mandate in Maharashtra.”

Impressive Wins Across States

Birla also lauded the BJP’s success in other regions, including the Uttar Pradesh by-elections, where the party won 7 out of 9 seats, and its strong performance in Assam and Bihar. She noted that in Jharkhand, while the BJP performed better compared to the previous elections, it fell short of forming the government.

Birla particularly emphasized the role of women voters in these victories, crediting initiatives like the “Ladki Behen Yojana” in Maharashtra for driving positive outcomes in the elections.

Anurag Thakur’s Role and Congress’s Decline

Usha Birla also praised the contributions of former Union Minister and Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur, who played a pivotal role in the Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections. She highlighted Thakur’s efforts in exposing the shortcomings of the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government during his campaign, which resonated with voters in Maharashtra.

Acknowledgment of Leadership and Workers

Birla attributed the NDA’s success to the hard work of millions of BJP workers and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur. She extended her congratulations to all BJP and NDA leaders, workers, and supporters, expressing confidence in continued victories under their guidance.

This monumental win in Maharashtra is being celebrated as a testament to the BJP’s grassroots efforts and its commitment to national progress.
