Community Hall Inaugurated and Discounted Land Allocation Announced
Raipur, December 18, 2024 Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai emphasized the timeless relevance of Baba Guru Ghasidas’ message of “Man is equal to man” during the Guru Ghasidas Jayanti celebrations organized by the Satnami Kalyan Samiti in Korba. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated a community hall worth ₹90 lakh and announced the allocation of land to the Satnami community at discounted rates.
The Chief Minister extended his greetings on Guru Ghasidas’ Jayanti, expressing his commitment to making Chhattisgarh a developed state with the blessings of Guru Ghasidas and the support of its people. He urged the community to prioritize education, unity, and development for the overall prosperity of Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu, and Satnami community leaders were present at the event.
Highlighting the government’s progress, CM Sai remarked on the successful implementation of key promises within a year, including the construction of PM housing, purchase of paddy at ₹3,100 per quintal, increased allowances for tendu leaf workers, monthly financial aid for women, and measures to address irregularities in PSC examinations.
The Chief Minister also announced a new tribal hostel in Delhi for UPSC aspirants and spoke of reforms in education and industry policies aimed at benefitting marginalized groups. He encouraged the community to leverage these initiatives to excel in education, enterprise, and governance.
Honoring the Chief Minister
During the celebrations, CM Sai and other dignitaries participated in the worship of the Jaitkham and flag hoisting ceremony. Satnami leaders honored him with a silver crown, garlands, and a portrait of Baba Guru Ghasidas. The Chief Minister also released a book titled “Maa Ki Chahat” authored by Salik Nirmal Diwakar.
