Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his visit to Stuttgart, emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is strategically positioned at the heart of India, making it a logistical hub for North-South and East-West connectivity. Speaking at a round-table meeting with German investors, he highlighted the state’s unique geographic and industrial advantages, which are attracting global investments.
The LAPP Group, a German industrial cabling giant, has already established its second Indian base in Madhya Pradesh after Bengaluru, showcasing the state’s potential for international partnerships.
Industrial-Friendly Infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh
CM Dr. Yadav outlined Madhya Pradesh’s proactive policies aimed at fostering industrial growth and attracting private investments. Initiatives like Regional Industry Conclaves have created a conducive environment for industrial expansion, instilling confidence among both national and global investors.
Dr. Yadav stressed that partnerships with Germany could drive industrial and technological collaboration through private investments, technical exchanges, and joint ventures, thereby strengthening bilateral economic ties.
Global Investors Summit Invitation
CM Yadav invited German investors and businesses to the upcoming Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, February 2025. Highlighting the significance of German expertise, he said that Madhya Pradesh offers a wealth of natural resources, skilled manpower, investor-friendly policies, and innovative administrative support, making it an ideal destination for industries.
He reiterated the state government’s readiness to modify or improve policies to facilitate investments.
Harnessing German Efficiency for Madhya Pradesh’s Growth
Dr. Yadav acknowledged Germany’s resilience and technological capabilities, noting their strong historical and cultural connections with India, from Max Muller’s Vedic translations to archaeological and cultural studies. He emphasized that Germany’s strengths in efficient resource utilization and technological innovation align perfectly with Madhya Pradesh’s vision of industrial and social progress.
Green Energy, MSMEs, Heavy Industry, and Tourism on the Horizon
Dr. Yadav also identified sectors like green energy, MSMEs, heavy industries, education, health, and tourism as areas with immense potential for collaboration. German technology, particularly its emphasis on cost-effective resource and labor utilization, could significantly benefit Madhya Pradesh’s industries.
He stressed that the visit aims to create opportunities for youth through skill development, better education, and employment, ensuring progress for families, the state, and the nation.

At the LAPP Group’s Stuttgart facility, CM Yadav received a warm reception from the leadership, including Chairman Andreas Lapp, Matthias Lapp, and Hubertus Brrier. The team showcased the company’s activities and their plans for expansion in Madhya Pradesh, which is set to serve as a model for other German investors.
