Quality and Durability Take Priority

The Chief Minister said roads are essential not only for everyday travel but also for tourism, local economic activity and connectivity to remote communities. Ensuring safety on national highways, particularly at vulnerable locations, must therefore receive close attention.

He asked officials and executing agencies to coordinate effectively so that the measures being undertaken are durable and serve their intended purpose.

Dhami emphasised that a project’s success should be judged by its quality, timely completion and usefulness. Road-safety work, he said, requires particular care and strict adherence to technical requirements.

Direct Interaction with Engineers and Workers

At the site, the Chief Minister spoke with engineers and workers about their contribution to infrastructure development.

He said technical expertise, dedication and sustained effort are central to turning development plans into completed projects. Dhami also posed for photographs with the team working at the location.

Reiterating the government’s commitment to safer and more reliable roads, he instructed officials to monitor improvement and stabilisation works regularly and ensure that quality is maintained throughout execution.
