43rd India International Trade Fair Hosts ‘Madhya Pradesh Day’

Bhopal, November , 2024: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reaffirmed the state’s commitment to becoming the **leading industrial hub in India**, leveraging its abundant natural resources, cultural heritage, and progressive industrial policies. Speaking at the 43rd India International Trade Fair’s *Madhya Pradesh Day* celebrations in New Delhi, he emphasized the integration of industrial growth with cultural preservation and welfare-oriented policies.

### **Madhya Pradesh’s Unique Identity**
Dr. Yadav highlighted the state’s rich cultural and natural assets, including:
– **Two Jyotirlingas**, the sacred rivers **Narmada** and **Shipra**, and its distinction as the only **Tiger, Leopard, and Cheetah State** in India.
– Being India’s **sole diamond-producing state** and a repository of abundant mineral wealth.
– A 5,000-year-old cultural history as the karmabhoomi of Lord Krishna and Lord Ram.

### **Commitment to Industrial Development**
Dr. Yadav elaborated on the state’s ongoing initiatives to foster industrial growth:
– **Regional Industry Conclaves and Roadshows** to attract investments.
– The **’One District, One Product’ Scheme** encouraging women’s self-help groups.
– Promotion of **MSMEs** and large-scale industries alike.
– Declaration of **2025 as the ‘Year of Industry,’** focusing on doubling the state’s GDP within the next five years.

Dr. Yadav inaugurated the **Madhya Pradesh Pavilion** at the fair, which was developed under the theme **‘Developed India @2047.’** The pavilion showcased:

– Missions emphasizing the welfare of youth, women, farmers, and the underprivileged.

Awards were distributed for excellence in exhibits, with the **Tourism Department** and **Mati Kala Board** receiving recognition for best stall displays. Renowned artist **Mohammad Yusuf Khatri** was honored for his exemplary live art demonstrations.
