Raipur, November 4, 2024: The district-level Rajyotsav celebration, commemorating Chhattisgarh’s State Foundation Day, will be held on November 5 at the Art Center Grounds in Ambikapur. Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam will grace the occasion as the chief guest. The event will also be attended by MLAs Rajesh Agrawal, Prabodh Minj, and Ramkumar Toppo, Chairman of the State Youth Commission Vishw Vijay Singh Tomar, Mayor of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation Dr. Ajay Tirkey, and Sarguja District Panchayat President Mrs. Madhu Singh.
Collector Shri Vilas Bhoskar and SP Shri Yogesh Patel reviewed the final preparations at the venue on Monday. They provided instructions to ensure arrangements such as seating, decoration, cleanliness, stalls, security, parking, transportation, drinking water, and power supply were in place. Various departments will set up stalls at the Rajyotsav, showcasing models and exhibitions highlighting government schemes and developmental projects.
**Cultural Performances to Enliven the Event:**
The celebration will feature vibrant cultural programs performed by students from local schools and colleges. Chhattisgarhi folk singer Sunil Manikpuri, known for his popular “Hamar Para Tumhar Para” songs, will perform traditional folk music. Other artists, including singer Himangi Tripathi, Rahul Mandal, Priyanshu Mishra, and Shatakshi Verma, will also captivate the audience. Classical dance performances by Neera Yadav and Srishti Bhadauria, Shaila dance by the Ramdal group, and musical acts by Rhythm Band and Gaurav & Team Orchestra will add to the festivities.
