Uttarakhand has taken a major step toward helping young people prepare for competitive examinations. Under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana, 11,000 eligible students from government and government-aided colleges and state universities will receive free online coaching.
The initiative is aimed especially at talented students from hilly and remote areas who often struggle to access quality coaching because of distance, limited resources or financial constraints.
The programme will provide students with expert guidance, structured study material, exam strategies and regular practice support. It is designed to help candidates prepare more effectively for various competitive examinations and improve their chances of success.
The scheme reflects the state government’s wider focus on making education and career opportunities more accessible to young people. It seeks to ensure that a student’s background or financial condition does not become a barrier to achieving professional goals.
The government has also highlighted the importance of transparent recruitment and a fair examination system. Along with competitive-exam preparation, it is promoting skill development, startups, entrepreneurship, self-employment and local businesses so that Uttarakhand’s youth can become job creators.
The initiative is expected to give fresh confidence to students across the state and help them prepare for their future without leaving their colleges or villages in search of expensive coaching facilities.
