Foundation Laid for Industrial Units in Mandsaur; Dialogue with Entrepreneurs
Bhopal: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced the establishment of two new industrial parks in Mandsaur, which are expected to bring ₹2,500 crore in investments from 100 industrial units. Highlighting the industrial potential of Mandsaur and Neemuch districts, the Chief Minister emphasized the role of industries in creating employment and fostering economic prosperity.
Dr. Yadav was addressing the foundation stone-laying ceremony of Hariom Refinery (₹132 crore) and Mexican Agro Chemical Limited (₹7.5 crore) in Mandsaur. He also held a detailed dialogue with entrepreneurs during the event.
Boosting Industrial Development
The Chief Minister noted that industrial development is accelerating in the region, with new industrial zones emerging in Jaggakhedi, Basai, and Semli Kakad. The two upcoming parks are expected to create 15,000 jobs, providing substantial employment opportunities.
Dr. Yadav virtually inaugurated a District Investment Promotion Center to assist investors and streamline support for new industries. He also received an Expression of Interest (EOI) from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, which will bring ₹1,040 crore in investments to Mandsaur.
The Chief Minister assured investors of all necessary resources and infrastructure for their projects and highlighted the state’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment.

The presentation of the two industrial parks showcased their potential to attract diverse industries and generate economic growth. The newly established centers are set to boost the region’s economic landscape significantly.

The event was graced by prominent figures, including Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, Khajuraho MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma, former minister Dr. Mahendra Singh, MPs Sudhir Gupta and Banshilal Gurjar, and several state legislators and local representatives. District Panchayat Chairperson Durga Vijay Patidar and municipal leaders also participated alongside enthusiastic citizens.
With these developments, Madhya Pradesh continues to emerge as an industrial hub, paving the way for large-scale investments and robust economic progress.
