Raipur, December 10, 2024 In a major initiative to empower youth and boost the cooperative sector, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai distributed appointment letters to 334 candidates selected for various posts in the Cooperative Department. At a special event held at the New Circuit House in Raipur, the Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to transparency in recruitment processes and highlighted the importance of cooperative institutions in the development of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Distributes Appointment Letters

Addressing the newly appointed recruits, Chief Minister Sai congratulated them and urged them to perform their duties with dedication and integrity. He emphasized that over the past year, more than 9,000 vacancies have been filled across various government departments, ensuring opportunities for youth from all sections of society.

The Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated two new branches of Apex Bank in Tamnar and Bagicha (Jashpur district), along with two new branches of District Cooperative Central Bank in Garh Pulzhar and Sirpur. Additionally, the new Apex Bank branch building in Jashpur was also inaugurated virtually.

Tribute to Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh

The Chief Minister began his address by paying homage to Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh, who dedicated his life to the welfare of humanity. Drawing inspiration from Singh’s selflessness, the Chief Minister urged the youth to embrace the spirit of cooperation and community welfare.

He cited the example of Amul, emphasizing how cooperative models can bring prosperity to farmers and rural communities. Sai highlighted the importance of the cooperative sector in transforming the lives of farmers and said, “Cooperation will be a cornerstone of our journey towards making Chhattisgarh a developed state.”

Empowering Farmers and Youth

The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to farmers in regions where new cooperative bank branches have been opened, noting that these branches will enhance financial accessibility and support for the agricultural community. He also assured young aspirants that the transparent examination and recruitment processes implemented by the government will provide fair opportunities to all, especially the children of farmers and laborers.

Ministers Stress the Importance of Cooperation

  • Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap: In his address, the Cooperative Minister praised the government’s commitment to fulfilling promises made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. Kashyap emphasized the critical role of the cooperative sector in improving farmers’ lives and urged the newly appointed officials to work diligently toward this goal.
  • Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary: Highlighting the government’s transparency in governance, Choudhary noted that recruitment processes across 19 departments have been conducted with integrity. He called on the recruits to serve with honesty and contribute to enhancing the lives of ordinary citizens.

Recruitment Milestone

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board conducted recruitment examinations for various posts in the Cooperative Department, including field officers, office assistants, and committee managers, for a total of 334 positions. At the event, the newly recruited candidates and their families expressed immense joy and gratitude to the Chief Minister. Many hailed the transparent recruitment system as a significant step toward building trust and offering fair opportunities to the youth of the state.
