Raipur | December 10, 2024 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended a formal invitation to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to participate in the Mahakumbh 2025, to be held at the sacred Sangam in Prayagraj. The invitation also extends to all residents of Chhattisgarh, inviting them to be part of this grand spiritual gathering.
Symbolic Invitation by UP Ministers
To convey the invitation, Uttar Pradesh’s IT and Electronics Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma and Minister of State for Social Welfare Sanjay Gond met CM Sai in Raipur. They presented him with:
- An official invitation letter
- A symbolic representation of the Mahakumbh
- A vial of holy Ganga water
During the meeting, Minister Sharma requested CM Sai to establish a Chhattisgarh Pavilion at the Mahakumbh to cater to the devotees from the state.

Chief Minister Sai warmly welcomed the ministers and expressed gratitude to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the thoughtful invitation. He announced plans to:
- Set up a dedicated pavilion at the Mahakumbh to accommodate devotees from Chhattisgarh.
- Ensure facilities for lodging and meals for pilgrims traveling to Prayagraj for the event.
To facilitate this, CM Sai handed over a letter addressed to CM Adityanath, requesting a reserved location at the Mahakumbh site. He stated, “This pavilion will not only provide convenience to the pilgrims but also serve as an opportunity to showcase Chhattisgarh’s rich culture, heritage, and achievements to visitors from across the world.”
