Jaipur, November 29, 2024 Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced that the Rajasthan government will mark its first anniversary with significant benefits for all sections of society, including farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged. The government will present a detailed report of its achievements during its first year in office, emphasizing its commitment to inclusive development aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Antyodaya (uplifting the last person in the queue).

Key Highlights:

  1. Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit (Dec 9-11):
    • Aimed at unlocking Rajasthan’s immense potential across multiple sectors.
    • Expected to attract global attention, with agreements worth ₹25 lakh crore already signed across 7,000 MoUs.
    • Launch of new investment-friendly policies to boost industrial growth and generate extensive employment opportunities for the youth.
  2. First Anniversary Celebrations:
    • Statewide programs to highlight government initiatives and achievements.
    • Special benefits for farmers, youth, women, and underprivileged groups.
    • A grand state-level event in Jaipur featuring beneficiaries of central and state government schemes, along with public participation.

During a review meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Sharma directed ministers and officials to ensure the success of the summit and anniversary programs by coordinating at regional and district levels. He emphasized seamless transportation and logistical arrangements for attendees.

Forward-Looking Vision:

CM Sharma highlighted that hosting the Rising Rajasthan summit in the first year reflects the government’s long-term vision for economic growth and global outreach. With participation from several countries, the summit is poised to position Rajasthan as a premier investment destination.

Collaborative Planning:

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Industry Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, and other cabinet members contributed suggestions during the meeting. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and district representatives, joined via video conferencing to align efforts for upcoming events.

The dual focus on celebrating the government’s anniversary and organizing the Rising Rajasthan summit underscores the state’s determination to achieve inclusive and sustainable development while fostering global partnerships.
