Bhopal, Monday, November 4, 2024, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras will serve as one-stop centers for farmers. These centers will provide comprehensive information on fertilizers, seeds, agricultural equipment, and soil testing, along with other essential resources related to farming. On September 3, during a review meeting with the Cooperative Department and Narmada Control Board, Dr. Yadav had directed the establishment of these Kendras in every village panchayat.
The goal of the PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras is to offer farmers all necessary details about soil, seeds, fertilizers, and more in a single location. These centers will also connect with custom hiring centers to make both small and large farming equipment accessible. Additionally, farmers will receive guidance on best agricultural practices and various government schemes.
**Benefits for Farmers**
With the setup of PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras in village panchayats, farmers will no longer need to travel elsewhere for farming resources. These centers will provide all essential inputs for agriculture on-site. If a resource is unavailable, the Kendra coordinators will assist in acquiring it, saving farmers both time and expenses related to purchasing fertilizers, seeds, and equipment. The centers will also ensure the availability of high-quality materials, leading to improved crop yields.
**Help Desk at Kisan Samriddhi Kendras**
Each PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendra will have a dedicated help desk offering guidance based on soil analysis, including nutrient usage recommendations. Farmers will receive weather forecasts and information about crop insurance, drones, and agricultural tools. Additionally, the centers will provide details on crop patterns and packages to maximize profits.
**WhatsApp Group for Progressive Farmers**
The operators of PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras will stay connected with the Agriculture Department, participating in various agricultural programs and initiatives. A WhatsApp group named “Kisan Samriddhi Group” will be created to keep progressive farmers informed and engaged.
