Event Begins with Drumbeats, Conch Sounds, and Vedic Chants

Bhopal, November , 2024 – Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the deep-rooted religious and cultural ties between India and Nepal during a special event held near the Shri Mahamrityunjaya Gate, close to the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. The occasion marked the ceremonial flagging off of a vehicle carrying 1,11,111 Laddu Prasads for distribution at the Shri Ram-Janaki Vivah Mahotsav in Mithila, Nepal.

The Laddu Prasad was dispatched to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust in Ayodhya for further distribution at the grand event celebrating the divine wedding of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in Nepal. The ceremony commenced with traditional damru drumming, conch blowing, and the chanting of Vedic hymns, adding a spiritual aura to the proceedings.

Strengthening India-Nepal Ties

Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Yadav highlighted the historic and sacred bond between India and Nepal, emphasizing the shared cultural and religious heritage. He remarked, “The distribution of Lord Mahakal’s Laddu Prasad in Mithila, Nepal, is a significant step in strengthening the ties of friendship and faith between our two nations. This gesture underscores the enduring connections between the two cultures.”
