Meena Vishwakarma: From Financial Hardship to Stability

For Meena Vishwakarma from Jhalakhmariya village, the Mahatari Vandan Yojana has been nothing short of a blessing. Since February 2024, she has been receiving ₹1,000 per month under the scheme. With this support, she started buying vegetables from Mahasamund and selling them door-to-door. Today, her income has increased, allowing her to meet her family’s daily needs. Meena calls this scheme the foundation of her financial stability, stating,
“This scheme has brought a new hope into my life.”

Bhojbai Mongre: Turning Tragedy into Triumph

Bhojbai Mongre from Boriyazhar village faced extreme financial difficulties after her husband’s demise. However, in March 2024, she started receiving monthly assistance, which she saved for six months to open a small vegetable shop. Now, she has a steady source of income.

Usha Sahu: A New Path to Independence

Similarly, Usha Sahu from Koundkera Gram Panchayat wisely utilized the financial aid from the scheme to set up a vegetable stall. Today, she earns around ₹200 per day, enabling her to support her children’s education and household expenses. Expressing her gratitude, she says,
“Mahatari Vandan Yojana has given my life a new direction. Now, I am self-reliant and can take care of my family.”

A Ray of Hope for Women’s Empowerment

The Mahatari Vandan Yojana is empowering women like Meena, Bhojbai, and Usha, helping them build a stable and independent future. Thousands of women across the state are benefiting from this initiative and thanking Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for his vision in uplifting women’s lives.

This scheme has truly become a beacon of hope for women’s financial empowerment, proving that with the right support, women can rise above challenges and shape their own destiny.
