Bhopal | Monday, March 10, 2025 | Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla emphasized that sports not only enhance physical and mental well-being but also instill team spirit, discipline, and leadership skills. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to encouraging youth participation in sports and strengthening sports infrastructure.
Shukla inaugurated the Shivaji Trophy Cricket Tournament at Ankur Sports Ground, Bhopal, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He also interacted with the players and extended his best wishes for the tournament.
Dr. Vipin Tiwari, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, highlighted that the Shivaji Trophy Cricket Tournament has been successfully conducted for the past seven years, receiving overwhelming support from players, sports
enthusiasts, and spectators. This year, 32 teams are participating, including teams comprising doctors and lawyers.
