Attends Prize Distribution Event in Indore

Bhopal | Saturday, November 9, 2024 | Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the ITF MT 700 World Tennis Awards Ceremony at the Indore Tennis Club on Saturday, where he presented awards to the champion tennis players, offering them his best wishes. The event also saw the presence of Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, other representatives, Madhya Pradesh Tennis Association President Shri Anil Mahajan, Secretary Shri Anil Dhupar, and numerous athletes.

Organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tennis Association, the ITF MT 700 World Tennis Masters Tour is the largest masters tennis event in the country, taking place from November 4-10, 2024, at the Indore Tennis Club. This prestigious competition is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and features top-ranking players from across the country. The event brings together 202 participants from 17 states, including 180 men and 22 women, with competitors ranging in age from 30 to 75.

Players from Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Assam, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh are competing in this high-stakes event. Participation in the ITF Masters Tournament allows players to earn ITF points, impacting their rankings and increasing their chances of selection for the Indian Masters Tennis Team, which competes in global ranking tournaments.
