Raipur, November 1, 2024: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai shared the joy of Diwali with sanitation workers in Naya Raipur today, distributing sweets and gifts as a gesture of gratitude. During the heartfelt interaction, the Chief Minister warmly engaged with the children of the workers, offering them chocolates with affection. Accompanying him were Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and MLA Moti Lal Sahu.

The Chief Minister was en route to attend the grand diya lighting event at Ekta Path, organized in celebration of Chhattisgarh’s State Foundation Day, when he noticed the sanitation workers near the CBD station. Moved by their hard work and dedication, he paused to personally greet them and convey his Diwali wishes. In addition to distributing sweets and gifts, he also inquired about the wages and benefits provided by the government, ensuring that their needs are being addressed.
Municipal Commissioner Avinash Mishra was present during this meaningful interaction, highlighting the administration’s commitment to acknowledging the vital contributions of sanitation workers.
