Bhopal, November 7, 2024: The Bhopal Health Department, in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation, organized special camps on November 6 and 7 across 17 ward offices to create Ayushman health cards for senior citizens over 70 years of age. These camps successfully issued Ayushman cards to 1,600 seniors, making healthcare more accessible for the elderly.
To further accommodate senior citizens, additional camps will be held at 19 ward offices on November 8 and 9. According to Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, these camps are set up in coordination with the Municipal Corporation, allowing residents to conveniently access Ayushman card services close to their homes.
The upcoming camps will be organized in Ward Nos. 08, 09, 14, 19, 22, 23, 35, 36, 37, 38, 47, 48, 51, 69, 75, 76, 77, 78, and 79. These initiatives aim to ensure healthcare benefits reach all eligible senior citizens in the city.
