In a significant step toward promoting women’s safety, hygiene, and convenience, the Women Welfare Organization of Bhopal Railway Division has installed sanitary pad vending machines at Bhopal Railway Station. The machines, with a capacity of 25 sanitary pads, allow women travelers to access sanitary pads during emergencies by simply inserting a ₹5 coin. This initiative ensures that women travelers experience comfort, dignity, and hygiene while on the move.

A Step for Women’s Empowerment and Health

Gunjan Tripathi, President of the Women Welfare Organization, called this initiative a significant step for women’s self-reliance and safety. Key Officials Present at the Launch

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Rashmi Diwakar, and Co-Founder of NGO “Setu” Meeta Wadhwa were among the important officials present at the launch ceremony.
