Bhopal, November , 2024
The 77th Nirankari Sant Samagam, held under the theme “Expansion towards Infinity”, concluded successfully at the Nirankari Spiritual Center, Samalkha (Haryana). Thousands of devotees from Bhopal, Bairagarh, and Zone 24-A, including many from across the globe, attended the event and returned with divine blessings.
Divine Teachings from Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji
On the first day of the samagam, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj delivered a profound address, explaining that when we incorporate the Supreme Being into our lives, human qualities naturally expand. She emphasized, “God is worth knowing, and when we make Him the foundation of our life, human virtues begin to grow effortlessly.” Mata Ji explained that true expansion towards infinity is an internal journey. She highlighted how the mind often desires different things than the intellect, but when connected to God, the mind finds stability, leading to harmony and unity.
During the event, Mata Ji addressed the gathering, speaking on the importance of maintaining a peaceful mind and explained that the connection with the Supreme Being brings a sense of unity and belonging.
Grand Reception and Procession
On arrival, Satguru Mata Ji and Nirankari Rajpita Ji were warmly welcomed with floral garlands by members of the Nirankari Mission’s Executive Committee. A grand procession followed, where over 300 students from the Nirankari Institute of Music and Arts performed dances and music to honor the divine couple. The divine couple sat in a flower-decorated palki, blessing the devotees with their presence, while the attendees welcomed them with heartfelt devotion, making the atmosphere truly divine.
Nirankari Exhibition
The exhibition, based on the theme “Expansion towards Infinity”, became a central attraction for all the saints. The exhibition was divided into three parts:
- The first part focused on the history and ideology of the mission, as well as the spiritual journeys undertaken by the Satguru in India and abroad.
- The second part showcased the charitable and welfare activities of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, focusing on health and social welfare.
- The third part presented a children’s exhibition, beautifully depicting divine lessons through the efforts of young saints.
Spiritual Discourses and Divine Messages
During the samagam, Mata Ji spoke about true devotion, describing it as the key to connecting with the Supreme. She encouraged the congregation to incorporate devotion into every moment of life, eliminating the need for a separate time for prayer. This approach, she explained, awakens selfless service and love for others.
On the second day, the Sevadal Rally took place, highlighting the principles of selfless service, dedication, and humility. Satguru Mata Ji reminded the devotees that service is not just a task but a divine emotion, reflected in our actions and body language.
Health and Wellness Services
A notable feature of this year’s Samagam was the provision of free chiropractic care through modern techniques, benefiting thousands of attendees. Over 25 doctors from around the world provided continuous services. Additionally, a 100-bed hospital with ICU and ventilator facilities was established on-site, ensuring top-quality health services.
Bhakti and Selflessness
In her closing message, Satguru Mata Ji emphasized that true devotion leads to selflessness and breaking down barriers of caste, religion, or background. She stated that when we understand the divine truth, it transcends all worldly illusions and brings unity among all.
She shared a story of limited thinking, warning that like the frog in the well, we often limit ourselves by narrow views. True spirituality, she explained, requires expanding our mindset and embracing universal truths.
Special Cultural Events: Multi-Language Poetry Gathering and Langar Service
The final day of the samagam featured a multilingual poetry session, where poets from different parts of the world presented their inspiring works on the theme of “Expansion towards Infinity” in languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, English, and others. The event also included a children’s poetry session and a women’s poetry session.
The Langar Service at the samagam was a living demonstration of the mission’s spirit of community, where thousands of devotees from various cultural and religious backgrounds sat together, sharing food in harmony. Special arrangements were made for the elderly and disabled, with food served in steel plates to promote environmental awareness.
Gratitude and Conclusion
The samagam concluded with heartfelt gratitude from Jogninder Sukhija, the event coordinator, who thanked Satguru Mata Ji and Nirankari Rajpita Ji for their divine guidance and all the government departments for their cooperation.
The event left a lasting impact on all attendees, instilling deeper spirituality, compassion, and a greater sense of unity. The samagam reinforced the message that true service and devotion lead to spiritual growth and contribute to a better world.
