Raipur, January 14, 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai unveiled the official 2025 state government calendar, commemorating the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh’s formation. The calendar, centered on the theme “From Good Governance to Prosperity,” reflects the state’s focus on inclusive growth and development.

The cover features Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, alongside the tagline that emphasizes progress through governance. The calendar showcases stories of transformation brought about by various government initiatives.

Prominent leaders such as Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Lundra MLA Shri Prabodh Minj, and Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P. Dayanand were present during the launch.


Symbol of Transparent Governance

While unveiling the calendar, Chief Minister Sai remarked, “This calendar is a testament to our unwavering commitment to public welfare and development. It highlights our priority of ensuring that every citizen benefits from the government’s schemes. May this year bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to all in Chhattisgarh.”

He also extended Makar Sankranti greetings to the people, calling the festival a harbinger of new opportunities and growth for the state.

The 2025 calendar introduces a new feature: QR codes embedded on each month’s page. These codes link citizens to exclusive video messages from the Chief Minister as well as detailed updates on government initiatives.

Key highlights of the QR code feature:

  • Month-Specific Activation: Only the code for the current month remains active, ensuring timely and relevant information.
  • Interactive Experience: Citizens can access videos, messages, and government achievements using their smartphones.

Each page also includes unique facts about Chhattisgarh, making the calendar not just a functional item but also a tool for education and awareness.


Monthly Highlights of Welfare Initiatives

Each month in the calendar focuses on a different government scheme or initiative, celebrating the impact on citizens’ lives:

  • January: Features the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana, showcasing free pilgrimage opportunities to holy cities like Ayodhya and Kashi for thousands of devotees.
  • February: Highlights the grandeur of the Rajim Kumbh Mela, which attracts pilgrims and tourists from across the nation.
  • March: Celebrates the success of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, which has positively impacted over 70 lakh women by providing financial and healthcare assistance.
  • April: Displays the upliftment of tribal communities through increased wages for Tendu leaf collectors, with rates raised to ₹5,500 per standard bag.

  • August: Honors the contribution of women security forces to national safety, with an inspiring photograph of women personnel alongside the Chief Minister.
  • September: Reflects the fulfillment of housing dreams through the PM Awas Yojana, which has provided homes to numerous economically disadvantaged families, including tribal communities.
  • October: Celebrates the spirit of sportsmanship with the Bastar Olympics, where young athletes are shaping their futures with opportunities in sports.
  • November: Captures the pride of farmers during the Dhaan Khareedi Mahaparv (Paddy Procurement Festival), a vital event for the state’s agrarian economy.
  • December: Highlights the Neella Naar Yojana, which focuses on providing essential infrastructure and fostering peace in remote tribal regions.
