Raipur, December 17, 2024: In celebration of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly’s Silver Jubilee Year, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, and Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant jointly inaugurated the ‘Smritiyan’ photo exhibition today at the Assembly premises.
Following the inauguration, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant, along with ministers and MLAs, visited and admired the photo exhibition. Assembly Secretary Shri Dinesh Sharma was also present at the occasion.
The exhibition showcases significant milestones from the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly’s 25-year journey, displaying historical photographs capturing pivotal moments. It features images from the establishment of the Assembly to the present day, highlighting events attended by distinguished guests and various landmark occasions in the Assembly’s history.
Adding to the grandeur, a model of the newly constructed Legislative Assembly building in Nava Raipur has also been displayed at the exhibition site. The ‘Smritiyan’ exhibition will remain open throughout the year at the Assembly premises, allowing visitors to relive the Assembly’s illustrious journey over the past 25 years.
This initiative celebrates the legacy of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, offering an inspiring glimpse into its evolution and key milestones.
