Bhopal, 20 January 2026: On the occasion of Shri Nitin Nabin assuming charge as the newly elected National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and BJP State President and MLA Shri Hemant Khandelwal on Tuesday met him at the party’s national headquarters in New Delhi and extended their heartfelt congratulations by presenting a bouquet.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that entrusting the leadership of the world’s largest political party to Shri Nitin Nabin reflects the BJP’s confidence in young, energetic, visionary, and ideologically committed leadership. He stated that this decision symbolizes the party’s strong organizational structure, discipline, and value-based politics. Under Shri Nitin Nabin’s leadership, the BJP will scale new heights in ideology, organization, and public service, and will give fresh momentum to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s resolve of a Developed India by 2047.
BJP State President Shri Hemant Khandelwal said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and with the organizational skills of Shri Nitin Nabin, the party will reach new peaks of success. He emphasized that the organizational process in the BJP is not merely a formality, but the soul of the party. Dr. Yadav said that Shri Nitin Nabin’s extensive organizational experience, from booth-level work to top leadership, brings this ideology into practice. On the occasion of Shri Nitin Nabin assuming office as National President, celebrations were held with great enthusiasm at the BJP state office on Tuesday, including fireworks and distribution of sweets. Those present included State Government Ministers Shri Vishwas Sarang and Shri Andal Singh Kansana, BJP State Vice Presidents Shri Shailendra Barua and Shri Surendra Sharma, State Minister Ms. Rajo Malviya, State Office Minister Shri Shyam Mahajan, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, SC Morcha State President Shri Bhagwan Singh Parmar, OBC Morcha State President Shri Pawan Patidar, Municipal Corporation President Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, State Spokesperson Shri Rajpal Singh Sisodia, Shri Ajay Singh Yadav, along with district office-bearers and a large number of party workers.
Similar celebrations with fireworks and distribution of sweets were organized at district offices across the state.
