Father Expresses Gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav
Bhopal, February 9, 2025 – A 4-year-old girl, Smoli Awadhiya, from Lalbarra in Balaghat district, was airlifted to AIIMS Bhopal on Sunday via the PM Shri Air Ambulance. Smoli was suffering from organ failure and was undergoing treatment in Balaghat. As her condition worsened, doctors recommended transferring her to a higher medical facility in Bhopal for advanced treatment.

Father Thanks Chief Minister for Timely Assistance
Expressing his gratitude, Smoli’s father, Mr. Rahul Awadhiya, thanked Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for launching the PM Shri Air Ambulance scheme, which provides emergency medical air transport for the underprivileged. “People from poor backgrounds like us often struggle to access advanced medical treatment. Thanks to the government’s initiative, my daughter was provided an air ambulance to reach AIIMS Bhopal for proper care. I am extremely grateful to the Chief Minister,” he said.
Swift Response by Health and Administration Departments
Dr. Manoj Pandey, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Balaghat, stated that with the support of the district administration, arrangements were made for the PM Shri Air Ambulance to ensure Smoli received timely medical attention. He also mentioned that in a previous case, an injured individual, Shiv Kumar Sharma, was airlifted to Delhi following a Naxal attack.
