Expansion of Mohasa-Babai Industrial Area
To encourage the production of electrical and renewable energy equipment, the cabinet approved the inclusion of 442.04 acres of land into the existing industrial area of Mohasa-Babai in Narmadapuram district.

- Current Expansion:
- Additional 442.04 acres added to the previously allocated 441.96 acres.
- Total industrial park area now stands at 884 acres.
- Revised Benefits:
- Facilities and allocation processes applicable to the expanded area.
- Designed to attract manufacturers specializing in renewable energy and electrical equipment.
₹2312 Crore Infrastructure Projects for Simhastha 2028
Recognizing the need for robust infrastructure ahead of the Simhastha festival in 2028, the cabinet approved several key road construction projects.
Approved Projects:
- Ujjain Simhastha Bypass (4-lane with paved shoulders):
- Length: 19.815 km.
- Cost: ₹701.86 crore.
- Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Road (4-lane with paved shoulders):
- Length: 48.05 km.
- Cost: ₹1370.85 crore.
- Ingoriyia-Depalpur Road (2-lane with paved shoulders):
- Length: 32.60 km.
- Cost: ₹239.38 crore.
All projects will be executed by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation, ensuring timely and high-quality development to meet the demands of the upcoming festival.
Formation of Cabinet Committee on Excise Policy
The cabinet also approved the formation of a committee to frame the excise policy for 2025-26. The committee will handle auxiliary decisions and introduce revenue-focused reforms.
